3. Dalhousie

4. Narkanda
Since Narkanda is mainly used as a pitstop for several travel destinations in Himachal, it is unlikely to become the most desirable snow-viewing destination in winter. At 8884.5 feet above sea level, Narkanda is also well known for Tanni Jubbar Lake and Stokes Apple farms. Snow covers the entire place during winter, and the weather is extremely cold. It is coldest from December to March, with a minimum temperature of -1 degree.
The snowfall here is mostly recorded in December, but it does occur in November as well. Additionally, Narkanda offers the opportunity to experience skiing, which is gradually gaining popularity.

5. Mcleodganj

6. Jalori Pass
At a height of around 10,800 feet above sea level, this high mountain pass is located 73 kilometres from Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. Jalori Pass creates a border of spectacles between the Beas and Satluj watersheds. Bike and trek enthusiasts usually take this old British route while travelling to Spiti.
It is only accessible from April to November. However after that, even the motorable roads can get pretty uneven because of the heavy snowfall, and there is often 20 feet of snow on the roads. Depending on how much snow falls, routes open around mid-March and close around December.
What Not to Miss- While the Jalori Pass itself is a carpet of snowy wonder, there are places around it that will leave you just as enchanted. One should definitely do a trek to Serolsar and to Raghupur Fort. It is challenging but rewarding.

7. Prashar Lake
Located at an elevation of 2730 meters and nestled between tall cedar trees, Prashar lake is heaven on earth. It is located in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Take a bus to Manali and then get down to Mandi or take a train to Chandigarh from Delhi and then get a bus from there.
There is no better time to trek to Prashar Lake than in winter when a blanket of white snow paves the path to the surreal lake. The best time of year to enjoy a Prashar Lake trek is between December and mid-March. During this time, Prashar Lake offers breathtaking scenery, making it an ideal escape for travellers. Beside the lake is the Temple having Three Pagodas and is entirely dedicated to Sage Prashar. It is one of Himachal’s most coveted jewels and a favourite weekend getaway for tourists.
If you want to stay here you can book the PWD rest house or can stay at the shelters provided inside the temple. It can be quite challenging during heavy snowfall as washrooms are closed because of the frozen pipes, so be prepared for that.
