8. Chail

Perched at a height of 2250 meters above sea level, Chail offers a breathtaking view of the Himalayan ranges. In our opinion, Chail is one of the best hill stations in Himachal Pradesh for “ghumakkars”. It offers a cool, breezy summer and a snowy winter. And that’s not all, Chail still holds the pride of having the world’s highest cricket pitch. Chail is home to a variety of wildlife, still holds the natural beauty of mountains, and is much less commercialized than Shimla.

It has a palace which is now converted to a Hotel, once upon a time was the residence of Maharaja of Patiala in summers. You can stay there if you want. Chail has plenty of temples around some of them are Kali Tibba and Sidhdhi Baba Temple. You can pay a visit and take blessings.
