A Thoughtful Way to Experience the Route

This extended north India itinerary combines Himachal Pradesh’s most recognisable mountain destinations with Amritsar’s Sikh heritage and modern history. Travel from Shimla and Kufri to Manali, Solang Valley and the Atal Tunnel corridor, then continue to Dharamshala, Dalhousie and Khajjiar before descending to Punjab. Two nights in Amritsar allow time for the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Partition Museum, Durgiana Temple and the Wagah–Attari Border ceremony. It is best suited to travellers who prefer one thoughtfully connected route over several separate holidays.
