Walk slowly and notice the region’s everyday character.
A Dhauladhar town combining Tibetan culture, forest walks, monasteries and cricket-town energy.

Dharamshala combines a busy lower town with the Tibetan cultural centre of McLeod Ganj higher on the ridge. Monasteries, museums, cafés, forest walks and Dhauladhar views make it suitable for culture-focused trips and short mountain breaks. Distances appear small on a map, but traffic and steep roads mean McLeod Ganj, Norbulingka, Naddi and Kangra attractions should be grouped carefully.
