How to Reach Kangra Fort
By air
Kangra Airport at Gaggal is roughly 12–15 km from Kangra Fort by road. Flights can be weather-sensitive.
By train
Pathankot Cantt is the main broad-gauge railhead. Kangra Mandir on the narrow-gauge line is closer, but service frequency and operating status must be confirmed.
By road
The fort is around 3 km from Kangra town and about 20 km from Dharamshala. Buses reach Kangra; a taxi or local vehicle is useful for the final approach.
