How to Reach Manali
By air
Kullu–Manali Airport at Bhuntar is about 50 km from Manali and has limited flights. Chandigarh is a more reliable major gateway for many travellers.
By train
Manali has no direct railway. Chandigarh and Kalka are practical broad-gauge railheads, followed by a long road journey; Joginder Nagar has limited narrow-gauge access.
By road
Manali is connected by road through Kullu on NH3. Overnight buses operate from Delhi and Chandigarh, while weather and traffic can affect journey times.
